The Department of Mechanical Engineering at EASA College of Engineering & Technology is known for distinction in academics and research in the field of material sciences & thermal management, design & manufacturing engineering, metallurgy, renewable energy, and mechatronics engineering. The department has state of art laboratories and well-established research centres to carry out research and development in various fields.
We have created a student-centric learning approach, intended to add meaningful value to the student's understanding in an integrated manner through lab sessions, assignments, seminars, projects, independent study, workshops and training. The hands-on training offered with our CAD/CAM training in the advanced design software brings in a method of familiarizing with the industrial applications. This aids the students to implement their classroom knowledge to live industrial situations.
Holistic education with ethics and morals are provided to students enabling them to pursue successful professions in research, product design, and entrepreneurship. Students are open to express their ideas through interaction with faculty and with peers by engaging in research lab activities, department technical clubs and symposiums. This motivates students to develop innovative products, patents, technical skills, and leadership qualities.
